1940'S
I spent a lot of time with family this weekend.
The girls went to the Titanic Exhibit. I was the Countess of Rothes, traveling with my cousin and my maid.
I was on the way to Florida to meet up with my husband - the 19th Earl of Rothes, to view some land he planned to buy for a citrus orchard.
I survived.
Then Easter dinner happened where I picked up these gems of my grandma in her teenage years.

RED
I'm dying my hair tonight.
I am so nervous.
It took me so long to grow out the black. Now that i've had my natural hair color for a couple of years - it's time for a change.
Part of me wants to keep my hair the way it is because, well, it's natural. and i dig that about it.
but then another part of me wants to dye it so bad because it has been so long, and it's summer, change is fun and well red hair is super hot. I wanted orange red. then i decided that maybe i should start small and go for a more subtle shocking red.
I even purchased some new blush and lipstick to go with the new do.
