So it was actually my father who decided to bring it to my attention that I haven't updated my blog in forever, and what the f***?

I love you dad!

Anyways, summer has come and gone, we are in fall. 

Everything is beautiful, colours are all around.

I recently acquired two cameras, stoked.

One is a Diana F+ with flash, lomography camera. And the other was my grandpa's Minolta SLR 700.

Needles to say, i have been taking alot of pictures this past week. (side bar...I have known that alot is spelt a lot since like grade 2, and i still don't fucking care).

Photo shoot coming up this saturday with my lovely girls. I have fur and lipstick on the mind.

This past month has been pretty awesome, discovered a new lovely coffee shop to go grab my expensive coffee and pretend i'm in paris. Received two awesome cameras for severe entertainment. Seasons 1-6 of Seinfeld, cat cuddles and love bugs.

I cannot wait to get my film developed from these cameras, then i'll have some blog posts. ha!

Here are those leather collages i was talking about. One of my current projects.

Some are on wood canvas but most are just on re-used shelves or pieces of wood. 

I am also working on a series of paintings. i'm using every single last bit of paint i have right now, i can't wait until friday when i can go shopping and replenish the supply. but it's fun trying to use what you have left in a fashionable and pretty way.

While out walking on Saturday, i happened to stop by a yard sale. I bought a couple of things and on the way out commented on this gorgeous phone (that i could not afford at the time). 

She ripped the tag off of it and handed it to me and said it was mine.

Slackin' on the blog front.

Regaining your creativity is the best feeling in the world. 

I had been in sort of a slump for a while, it happens to all of us.

The worst part is that you know it won't last forever and you keep hoping that today will be the day you make something fucking cool.

I'm back on the jewelry, i've made some cool pieces, i will post.

My new favorite thing is leather collages. 

I knew there was going to be a good use for the mass amounts of scrap leather i have collected over the past couple of years...and last night it hit me.

I had a wood canvas kicking around that I hadn't gotten the chance to use and lots and lots of leather.

Add some good glue and there you go.

I will also post pictures.

NECK TIE

It has been a long time since I've made jewelry. 

I made this lovely piece at work today out of two pieces of wood from an old broken necklace.

It felt really good to make something, it feels like it's been such a long time....since I've made anything!

As for this week, it's been long. I'm moved in. this place is beautiful, melt my heart!

The cat couldn't be happier.
